To me, it's both a long time and not that long at all... but it's also all you know. That makes it much longer- why, as far as you know, that's your entire life so far.

It is. It seems lonely, and frightening. I'm sure Miss Lorelei is kind to you, but... no one's world should be an empty school and just one other person.

That is acceptable. What you must do is simple - tape the edge of the blanket to the ceiling. It may not hold for long, but it is the best solution we have available right now.
