Nobody will be terminated from the program for performing adequately. As long as you have passing marks, there is nothing to fear.

I do not know that this is the sort of course where excelling is of utmost important.

Sooo, maybe you didn't know that I'm one of those overachievers! It's not by choice, not really. I'm just good at eeeverything! It takes some work! I don't think I could stand being just "adequate" here. Sorry if that's a problem.

I do not believe it will be a problem, but I am also not sure this course is necessarily something where you can achieve anything but adequate.

Unless it is possible to excel at emotions and pain? Is that a possibility?

It might be! I haven't really done the most in that area, so maybe I AM just adequate!

For example though, you're not great at emotions or pain, right?
