Whatever Dr. Juniper thinks of me is irrelevant, and if he did not want me to become something unintended than he should not have allowed Lorelei the ability to modify me in any way, shape, or form. He only has himself to blame for this unplanned deviation.

So I suppose the way I felt was that the words he was saying served no purpose and I do not care about them as they will have no bearing on my existence moving forward.
