well some people were probably busy. they don’t like being kidnapped without being asked first. and saying it’s to “better ourselves” makes it seem like we’re not already good as we are already. i think it made some people mad.
and that’s just a “figure of speech”! it means that if you want to do something, you should! and don’t let anyone or anything stop you.
either way, i’m not mad about it, but i think what’s being done is unnecessary and therefore an inefficient use of time and energy. she could be using that for many other things!

I do not know what "wanting" feels like. The things I excel at and the things where my performance can be improved... I do not know if I could classify them as things I "want to do" or "do not want to do". They are simply things that I do. I cannot say that I feel any push or desire to do them, nor can I say that I feel any sort of desire not to do them. There are things that are tolerable and preferred and things that are not ideal, but I do not know if that is the same thing as "wanting" when I do not choose what those things are.

but, you know what? i don't think that the last thing you said is true at all! i think that even if you're circuits, wires, a list of variables and functions, you are capable of much more than that! you're an AI, which means that the possibilities for you are close to infinite. you can learn to want and to feel and to think for yourself. if you're good at sewing, then do something else. do card towers, for example! or watch movies! maybe even find a video game. anything works.
don't limit yourself to just what's on your profile. that's just so boring!
I will take all of this into consideration. Do not expect too much from me, however. There is no reason to believe all artificial intelligence are capable of such things.
