my ears are fine
my brain is fine (except for the hangover but other people feel it too)
it just make me look like a clumsy idiot and its really annoying and frustrating
i tripped out of my bed because my foot caught on the blanket
i accidentally dropped my tablet (but on the bed)
stuff like that

[And, true to their word, Florence only takes about ten minutes to get to Hien’s dorm. They knock on the door, waiting for him to let them in.]

[ The door has been kept slightly open with a rock (yes, that rock) so that Hien doesn't have to get up to open it. ]

That was fast.

My apologies.

[They step into the room, making a note of the rock, and stop in front of Hien’s bed. They stare blankly for a long moment.]

Your vitals seem to be within acceptable parameters.

Yeah, my vitals are fine. I'm not dying or in the process of dying.

[ It's at that moment when he realizes that just doing it himself would just... not really prove anything. ]

I'm not the type to be clumsy enough to trip when I walk. I even made sure to be careful when I walk—

[ Hien gets off the bed with the blanket around him, but he doesn't trip. He just hisses a little and immediately drops to the floor on his butt. ]

... This is really a bad combination.

[There’s no reaction as Hien falls, but they still crouch down next to him. There’s a tilt to their head.]

Are you alright with me touching you?

[If there’s any concern, it doesn’t show in their voice.]

[ He's treating this more or less like a doctor's visit, so he doesn't mind. Florence will have to get the blanket out of the way though. Hien looks like a teru teru bozu up to his head. Even his neck is covered by the blanket.

He tries to get up anyway. He's having trouble. ]

[They will very patiently try to peel the blanket off of Hien after helping him stand, and they don’t wait for further permission before putting their hand on Hien’s forehead.

And it’s then they just stand there.

For a long, long moment.

There’s a brief hum that sounds a bit like a computer whirring to life, but that’s the only sound they make during this awkward… inspection?

They’ll do their best to keep him steady if it seems like he’s going to tip over again, at least.]

It does not seem like this is a physical issue - or at least not a physical issue that I can detect.

[ He doesn't think it'll be too weird for Florence to just stand and watch. It's fine. He sighs. ]

Hey, Florence... Remember when you said you couldn't replicate a smile or something? Why is that? Just lift the muscles around your mouth.

[It might be a little weird for them to just stand there staring at everyone, unblinking, but that's what they're here for!]

I do not have any muscles. [well] It is not a gesture that I have been programmed with, and I do not see a reason why I would need to have smiling in as a response to external stimuli added. It serves no purpose.
